BUDDY HOLLY CASSETTES:

The following are all original Buddy Holly commercial cassettes. Although the sealed packaging may be dirty, stained, or marked on some as these are almost forty years old, any tape marked "still sealed" is brand new. Newer cassettes marked STILL SEALED are "store-stock" fresh. OPEN means the shrink wrap was taken off but tape is basically new. SEALED cassettes from Singapore and Saudi Arabia have "shrink wrap" which has shrunk or became brittle and is coming off. The tape is still brand new.

1543: [cassette] Pick C-1 "The Picks - 25th Anniversary Special Issue" Produced in 1982, this has 2 tracks with Buddy Holly "Rock Me My Baby" and "An Empty Cup", 11 tracks with the Pickering Brothers, a tribute song "Buddy Holly - Not Fade Away". Still sealed. $8

1554: [8-track box set] Longines Symphonette 110-113 Various Artists "Million Dollar Hits Of The '50s and '60s" For completist-type Buddy Holly and/or 1950's collectors, here is something you'll probably never see advertised again. It’s a box set containing four 8-track tapes (remember those?). Although tapes look good, there’s no guarantee the foil connecting tape hasn't dried out. IF you plan to play these, it is suggested that you replace those foil connectors. Most of the tracks are "pop" music but they also include "Rock Around The Clock" (Haley), "Peggy Sue" (Holly), "My Prayer" (Platters), "That'll Be The Day" (Crickets), "Shake Rattle And Roll" (Haley), and others. The box is slightly soiled but otherwise, all is M-. $60
